Custom WordPress Development & Plugin Solution for Certification Training
The National Standards Authority of Ireland required a custom WordPress development solution to support CertReady, their online certification preparation platform. The website needed to deliver structured educational content while providing a seamless and intuitive user experience.
A key part of the project involved building a custom WordPress plugin to manage quizzes, track user progress, and generate dynamic results screens. The plugin also included functionality to automatically generate PDF reports summarising user quiz performance.
Challenges & Objectives
The platform required a structured learning experience that allowed users to easily navigate certification modules while maintaining engagement and usability. The system needed to support multiple content types while ensuring performance, scalability, and accessibility across devices.
A major objective was to develop a reliable quiz and assessment system capable of tracking user progress and storing results securely. The solution also needed to automatically generate personalised results screens and downloadable PDF reports, while integrating seamlessly within a custom WordPress environment.

We began by understanding the National Standards Authority of Ireland’s certification platform, user needs, and content structure.
