Brendan Proctor began freelancing as a CSS Guru in London, UK, self-learning CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) at a pivotal moment when it was transforming web development. As the industry moved away from rigid table-based layouts, CSS enabled flexible, responsive web templates controlled from a single styling file — laying the foundation for modern front-end development and UI design.
Building on this early expertise, Brendan became freelancing as a specialist front-end developer, working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on a contract basis for leading London advertising agencies. During this time, he contributed to large-scale digital projects for global brands including Halifax Bank, Guinness, Nike, KFC, and Cadbury’s, delivering high-quality UI/UX web design and front-end solutions.

Relocation to South Africa
In 2007, Brendan relocated to South Africa while continuing to freelance for established clients in the United Kingdom. This move marked the start of a growing international client base across South Africa, Europe, the United States, and Australia.
Operating from South Africa allowed the business to offer clients worldwide cost-effective front-end development services with competitive rates, without compromising on quality. The focus during this period was on crafting custom web templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript animations, with a strong emphasis on performance, usability, and responsive design.
